Chapter XXXV of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 deals generally with irregular proceedings. They are set out in Sections 460 and 466. There are certain irregularities which do not vitiate the proceedings. They are set out in section 460. Certain other irregularities are treated as vital and there the proceedings are void irrespective of prejudice. These are set out in section 461.
